Photo Retouch : Make a magical Glow to a Image.

In this tutorial we are going to learn quickly to make soft focus and glow effect for a picture.
After you learn this effect give it a try in your pictures and see.
You will see a magic in your picture.

Let’s get in to the tutorial.

For this tutorial I’m going to use the following picture.

Step 1

Open the image in Photoshop and then duplicate the original layer (ctrl + j).

Step 2

Now with the duplicated layer, let’s apply a Lens Blur. Go to Filter > Blur > Lens Blur. Then use Multiply for the Blending effect, and set the Opacity around 75%.

Step 3

Duplicate that layer again, and then change the Blending mode to Lighter Color. Also change the Opacity to 64%.

Step 4

Now draw a selection circle with the Elliptical Marque tool in the middle. And go to Selection > Modify > feather.
Then set the Feather Radius to 75%, and delete the selected area.

Step 5

Now go to Image > Canvas Size (Alt + Ctrl + C).
Set the Canvas size width and height to 1 inch.
And select it to Relative.

Step 6

Finally create a background layer and fill it with black color.
Then select the original image layer and right click it and select the Blending Option and the check the stroke and set the stoke size to 9 px. Set the position to inside. Also change the color to white.

With this technique you will be able to create a nice Effect for your images. only thing you will have to do is change some opacities depending on the images.
